Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use a contract?

Yes! The contract guarantees that you are covered and it states the details of service and time that is included for the event. Djemcees will not perform an event unless the contract has been signed and the financial obligations have been met.

Do you supply the sound and lighting equipment?

We use the latest pro audio sound equipment which is included in the price. We have powerful PA systems and speakers with a bass speaker for a full range of quality sound. We also use wireless microphones for speaking or singing at your event. Also you can bring an iPod or plug in a guitar, keyboard or any instrument into the soundboard. The lighting tower has LED dance floor lights that creates an awesome party effect. If you would like to add up-lighting to your event, inquire about a price quote.

When do you arrive at the location?

Typically one hour before the first guests arrive. If the event is a wedding reception only, I will be set up 30 minutes before the reception starts. If the event is a ceremony and reception, we arrive 1.5 hours prior to the ceremony to set up.

Do you take requests?

We always take request with your permission or blessing. Your guests are able to make music requests. Be sure to send your friends to the planning link on this Website. You can make up any music list you want for any wedding or party you are planning.

What do you wear?

Depending on the event and the request of the clients I will where what is most professional or appropriate. At a wedding I wear your choice of a full suit and tie if needed. Other types of events like parties I may go more relaxed in a dress shirt and pants or dress according to the request of the client.

Do you bring a back-up system?

We bring a backup system to all events.

What payments do you take?

We require a signed contract and deposit to officially reserve the event and can accept cash, check, money order, credit card, or Venmo.
